February 2021 - Gabe reached out to Emily on Hinge saying that "she was too much fun for him". Emily was intrigued and first date was had at the bar, Junior's, after the original plan of City Line Grill in Albany was thwarted by COVID!

May 2021 - Gabe and Emily continued to go on dates and had a great time! That's when Gabe's dog, Tucker was adopted. Emily couldn't say no to being a possible dog step-mother and the relationship became official soon after. Fun fact - we know how old our relationship is based on how old Tucker is!

January 2022 - Gabe and Emily continued having fun dating. Gabe became invested (partly his own will and partly her insistence) in Emily's house searching process! Little did he know, he would be moving into said future house! Emily and Gabe also took a great skiing adventure to Breckenridge that is soon becoming a tradition!

February 2023 - Emily added her dog, Dottie, to the family, and the tables were now turned. Gabe was now a dog step-father and Tucker got a new play pal!

September 2023 - Gabe officially moved in with Emily under the agreement the basement became his man cave!

August 2024 - Emily and Gabe, along with Emily's sister Meghan and brother-in-law, Simon, went to the Finger Lakes to enjoy Emily's birthday. Unbeknownst to her, Gabe had a ring in his pocket the entire time and proposed at sunset on the deck at the rented lakefront home at Seneca Lake. Of course Emily said yes, after she computed what was happening!

June 2025 - Emily and Gabe get married and start the rest of their lives together with their two pups!
